On February 8-9th 2016 the Danish Ministry of Health is hosting a delegation from the Mexican Ministry of Health.
The purpose of the visit to Denmark is to follow up on a visit to Mexico in 2015 and to work on a collaboration project between the two ministries.
The Mexican delegation will visit several Danish healthcare organisations to learn about how we in Denmark work with areas such as cross-sector collaboration, coherent patient pathways, management of chronic illnesses, mental health and the use of telehealth solutions.
During the visit to Denmark, the delegation will come to Odense as many key players are located here;
• DAK-E The Danish Quality Unit of General Practice
• Medcom The Danish Health Data Network
• the Telepsychiatric Centre of the Region of Southern Denmark – the first of its kind in Denmark and
• Odense University Hospital which, along with the University of Southern Denmark has the largest research unit for telehealth and medical technology and one of the most modern acute facilities in all of Denmark.
